Something Most People Still Don't Know...

Steve Francis got traded back to the HOUSTON ROCKETS!

Smush Parker from the L.A. Lakers is now in the MIAMI HEATS!

The media and ESPN, didn't do a good job covering those two shocking headlines. Instead all you hear now days is the trade between the Timberwolves and Celtics. But some people don't understand that those two trades are just as shocking and important as the Timberwolves trading Kevin Garnett. You have to understand the fact that the Houston Rockets are going to have they're hometown all-star back playing for them and with three other veterns and two other all-star players, Yao Ming, T-Mac, and the future hall of famer, one of the best shot blocker in NBA history, Mutumbo. The Rockets are definately going to be one of the top five fan favorites this season. They're going to put up a show, especially because T-Mac worked hard this off season.

Smush Parker on the hand, has left his all-star teammate, Kobe Byrant and was pleased with Dywane Wade's warm welcome on his team. Parker said, "He's more of a people's person." Regarding Wade in comparison with Kobe. Parker is eager to blend with Wade and share the court, he's more confident because he knows he'll be trusted with the ball in his hands and have full support from the very unselfish, Dywane Wade. This one will be a fun one to watch for this upcoming season, and especially Parker facing his old teammate Kobe Byrant is just too good of a drama to miss.

Gilbert Vs Kobe...Who's Your Pick?

Gilbert scored 62 on Kobe in L.A. last season.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_HExPQQ9kU

What did Kobe have to say about that?

"He doesn't seem to have much of a conscience. I really don't think he does. Some of the shots he took tonight, you miss those, and they're just terrible shots. Awful...You make them and they're unbelievable shots." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogXdmMl_iC0&mode=related&search=

Anyway Kobe came back with some firepower when he faced Arenas again in his homecourt scoring 39.

LeBron's Professionalism

King James or should I say, has grown up before our eyes. When interviewers have the questions prepared for him before and after every game, he has the correct answers stored in his brain, it seems like he's a robot. He doesn't make excuses, takes full responsibility for winning games, putting the load on himself and is amazingly perfect in every aspects of his NBA career. I have to say, Job well done LeBron, you truly are a professional.

What? Shawn Marion Demands Trade?!?!?

Are you kidding me Marion? Are you out of your mind???

First off you have three-four all-star caliber teammates (also yourself as an all-star) that can put up a show, score points, grab boards (Amare Staudmire), run the best offence (Steve Nash), play spectacular defense (Raja Bell), and best playmaker and sixthman of the year Leandro Barbosa! Not to mention you also have Boris Diaw for god sakes. Do you really want to leave Pheonix?

Phoenix has a chance of winning the title in 08. Without Marion they will not be able perform the way did last year, each year they improve. Other players and mostly veterans dream day and night to be a Phoenix Sun because they do have a chance of earning a ring with that talented roaster. If Marion leaves, Pheonix will have to find another piece to fix the puzzle for his spot and have good, balanced chemistry on the team. Marion has been major impact for the Suns. He averages like 20 and 12 rebounds a game, and is the most explosive dunker of all time that I have witnessed.

Why do you want to be traded and wanting to have to start all over from a fresh slate, with new players trying to establish again. Marion, brotha, you've already established yourself into an All-Star on this Phoenix basketball team. If you decide to leave, that would be the most rediculous decision you've made in your life yet.

This is absoultely shocking....I'm sorry Phoenix Fans. But here's the truth:

"I'm tired of hearing my name in trades," Marion said by phone from his Chicago home Tuesday night. "I love my fans in Phoenix but I think it's time for me to move on."

"I haven't done anything wrong," said Marion. "I leave it on the floor night in and night out. Sometimes, it's just time, and it's time to go. "It's been like a nightmare. It hurts me making this phone call. It's hurting me in my stomach."

"It's just a bad marriage. I'm not talking about anyone. It's just time for me to go."

"I'll do what I've got to do, I'm a professional. I'm not bitter. I love the fans but I've got to take care of me."

East Vs West...Who's better this year? 2007-2008 season

This is a very tough question and by all means highly debatable.

Let me break it down for you:

The top five in East:

  1. Cleveland Cavs ------Eastern Conference Champs of last year.
  2. Detroit Pistons-------Mr.Bigshot, Billups, Rasheed, Hamilton, Prince are dominant force.
  3. Boston Celtics--------Now have three future hall of famers...High Expectations.
  4. Washington Wizards- The Underestimated, Agent Zero still proving people wrong! Clutch.
  5. Miami Heat---------- Wade/Shaq/Zo/Waine Simien...Let's see how Wade handles it with his previous shoulder injury and surgery.

The top five in West:

  1. San Antiono Spurs------The defending champs. Veteran Squad with good chemistry.
  2. Phoenix Suns------------The best uptempo offense in the leauge led by Nash, Barbosa, Marion, Amare, and Bell.
  3. Utah Jazz---------------- Fought hard in last year's playoffs led by Deron Williams/Boozer.
  4. Golden State Warriors--Absoultely speechless...they beat the #1 seed Mavericks 4-2 in 07
  5. Dallas Mavericks------- Have a good chance of beating teams consistantly but Coach Nelson and the Warriors have em' figured out.

I would have to say, the WEST although in the All-Star Game I would definately bet my money on the East because, they have a whole lot more talent than the West and can out run some of those guys on the West all-star team. But still all around the Westen Conference is more powerful in my opinion because they have more Veterans with experience and rings and play a whole lot smarter than the East. Simple, smart basketball wins more ball games than show boat basketball.

Enough Said,

I will be back tommorow with another one!
