Jason Kidd has offically stated that he wants to be traded from the New Jersey Nets.
I would love to have a guy like Jason Kidd to be a part of this franchise. I think it makes us that much better of a team. Everyone knows how much I love Jason Kidd, just throughout the summertime [on the national team]. It's not hard to see how much I'd love to have him as part of the team.
-LeBron
Kidd told ESPN The Magazine:
We tried to make this work. We’ve found out it doesn’t...It’s time for us all to move on.
Kidd may be a part of blockbuster deal...with the involvement of the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks.
Do you want to be a part of history? Then upload a clip demonstrating your best dunk as a video response of on this page. I will pick the dunk I like the best and replicate it during the NBA Slam Dunk Competition on February 16th. Let me see what you got and we can win this competition together! --Rudy Gay
Rudy Gay's Message to Dwight Howard:
You have that idea about moving the goal to 12 feet? If you want to do it, go ahead and do it. I'm pretty confident in my jumping ability. If you go before me, I'll leave it up there and do my dunk.
LeBron is over reacting due to loosing on their home court to the Suns. Not good. I didn't expect the billionare to act like this, after all he is the micheal jackson of basketball in this era especially after getting pulled over for driving above 100 mph on a local high-way in his Ferrari.
Anyways, after watching that video...if I was the janitor, I'd go after LeBron, "son you gonna pick that up?"

LeBron James scored 17 of his 37 in the fourth quarter and also hit the last second layup over the Blazers.
LeBron also grabbed 14 rebounds along with 4 assists.
Playing against the Portland Trail Blazers wasn't an easy task for the Cavs, well maybe for LeBron James but the rest of the Cleveland players scored no more than 9 points which is absolutely ridiculous. Larry Hughes and Z.Ilgauskas need to step up and help LeBron because they're playing very sluggish. Hughes and many other Cavs players just can't seem to find their touch in games. Nervous? Maybe. They might need to have a practice of all day shooting or something.
Larry Hughes averaging was almost an NBA All-Star when he played along with Gilbert Arenas, and Antwain Jamison averaging 20+ points. Since he came to Cleveland, he's been averaging a career low. If he would score even 15 points for Cleveland, it would be a guaranteed win...He must step up for his team because he has shown his capabilities when he played for the Wizards.
Some bad news for the Cav's: Varejao is out Three to Four Weeks due to a left ankle sprain with bone bruises.
On the other hand, even though the Blazers lost from the Cavs, they're still amazing. Who would of thought of the Blazers being the number 2 seed in their division. Who's their star player? I guess you can say Brandon Roy. But is it really? On some nights, it's Lamarcus Aldridge, on other nights it's Jarred Jack and on some J.Pryzbilla. They are playing the San Antonio Spurs style. The Blazers are definitely one of the top five teams with good chemistry this season.
Similary, LeBron was also the cause over the Lakers wit...the battle with Kobe Bryant. Before the game, when Kobe was asked about the match-up with LeBron, he replied by saying he doesn't worry about the too often "over-hyped match-ups with other markee players." Well this not an over-rated match up, this wasn't match up...Even though, the two player only really gaurd each other maybe two or three times during course of the game, it's no match up for the LeBron. He's the King and "We are all Witnesses!" Nuff said.
Yao Sidelined for Jazz-Rockets with Respiratory Infection
Scola and the bench warmers are going to need to step up and knock big baskets in order for them to win with out Yao.
Yao was averaging 30 and 10+ points in the last seven games before he was sidelined. Rockets were winning games effortlessly with Yao in the line-up. The focus has changed from T-Mac putting the load on his shoulders to carry the team to Yao this season who is by far worth more than T-Mac to the Rockets.
Lets all hope Yao gets healthy enough to come back to perform in the All-Star game!
LeBron James out scored Kobe scoring 14 in the fourth, like it snatching candy from a baby!
LeBron 41 points-- Cleveland Cavaliers (24-19)
Kobe 33 points-- Los Angeles Lakers (27-15)
LeBron James is a caliber level higher than Kobe by far. He is bigger, stronger, more explosive, and simply better than Kobe...He know's when to pass, when to shoot etc. He's the smartest basketball player on the court in the NBA. He just plays fundamentally smart basketball!
Allen Iverson says practice 30 times in a press conference.
In case you are wondering what he's talking about.... HE'S TALKIN ABOUT PRACTICE!
Just kidding. What happend was that his coaches and assistants didn't like Iverson's effort in practice when he was in the Sixers although he was a beast during a real game and played so often even with an injury. At that time he was averaging 31.1 points per game and 10 assists so, all I can say is man, we talkin bout practice!
The boy don't need practice!
If Coach tells you that I missed practice, then that's that. I may have missed one practice this year but if somebody says he missed one practice of all the practices this year, then that's enough to get a whole lot started. I told Coach Brown that you don't have to give the people of Philadelphia a reason to think about trading me or anything like that. If you trade somebody, you trade them to make the team better...simple as that. I'm cool with that. I'm all about that. The people in Philadelphia deserve to have a winner. It's simple as that. It goes further than that ... If I can't practice, I can't practice. It is as simple as that. It ain't about that at all. It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last but we're talking about practice man. How silly is that? ... Now I know that I'm supposed to lead by example and all that but I'm not shoving that aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I honestly do but we're talking about practice. We're talking about practice man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We're not talking about the game. We're talking about practice. When you come to the arena, and you see me play, you've seen me play right, you've seen me give everything I've got, but we're talking about practice right now. ... Hey I hear you, it's funny to me too, hey it's strange to me too but we're talking about practice man, we're not even talking about the game, when it actually matters, we're talking about practice ... How the hell can I make my teammates better by practicing?
- Allen Iverson at a press conference on May 8, 2002
Michael Jordan didn't even have the capabilities that LeBron James had during his teens and in the NBA. Jordan had to work hard to gain vertical, shoot hours and hours in the gym making his shot perfect but we are witnessing a baller that makes every possession look so easy and it seems like he is born to play the game of basketball. King James.
One of the best (Ranked 1 in NBA Countdown) play off games of the NBA is : LeBron James scoring 48 points, including 25 in a row! to lead Cleveland past Detroit in game 5 in a play off game!!! I repeat play off game, where the tempo of the game is extremely intense.
This is LeBron's best season yet. For instance, against the Boston Celtics (last night) he scored 38 points along with 13 assists! He's already had 3 triple-doubles in this season. One against the Pacers...30 points 10 assists and and 11 rebounds. Not to mention he had 45, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in a spectacular win over the Timbervovles this season.
M.J averaged around 27 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. At that time of the basketball era...they're weren't that many good offensive players and with that much consistency in their shot. That is why Jordan had 6 championships and the main reason why he's famous.
LeBron on the other hand, is averaging 30 + points, around 8 + boards and assists!
LeBron is clearly better than Jordan ever was. Period.
Mutombo is ranked second in NBA's All-Time blocks list. After blocking a shot, Mutombo always wags his index finger in the crowd and then yell's, "not in my house!"
Well, Shaquille O'Neal and Micheal Jordan have posterized Mutombo on several dunks but in these two clips they both give Mutombo his own patented finger wave to his face after dunking on him.
Yao was the nicest player in the league on the court to opponents in the beginning of his NBA career...I mean a little to nice...even nicer than Grant Hill. He was often nervous when got the ball, which usually slipped out of his hands because he wasn't even sure if he wanted it.
Now he doesn't take trash from no one. He's proved that he is the best center in the NBA and he is now officially the "go-to" guy for the Houston Rockets. Yao now has offically grown up...he can man-handle anyone in the NBA!
These of video below really shocked me, I didn't know Yao would...
Shaq is one of the goofiest NBA players of all-time. Don't be surprised when you hear him say some of the most outrageously stupid remarks that turns him into a comedian.
Shaq Showing off his dance moves in the NBA All-Star Dance Off 2007
J. Navarro connecting on a clutch three, tied the game up with six seconds left in the fourth. LeBron drives right, jumps back, fade-away jump shot...no good. The game goes to overtime. Cleveland come out on top and sealed the victory. LeBron is simply amazing.

Top Five For Cavaliers:
Larry Hughes 4 points, 7 assists Daniel Gibson 18 points, 2 assists Z. Ilgauskas 14 points, 8 rebounds D. Gooden 12 points, 6 rebounds LeBron James 51 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists
Top Five For Grizzlies:
Rudy Gay 30 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists Paul Gasol 19 points, 12 rebounds M. Conley 20 points, 7 assists Mike Miller 12 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds J. Navarro 26 points, 4 assists
Rudy Gay vs LeBron was an interesting game between the two stars but LeBron out shined Gay. Re-match is a must see!
First thing: How in the world do the Celtics loose from the Wizards who are playing with out Gilbert Arenas?!?!
Not mention that they also have Garnett, R. Allen, Pierce, Rondo...
What should have been an easy wins for the Celtics this season has turned out to be two embarrassing losses due to silly, careless mistakes with the ball on the Celtics part. They just seem a bit too nervous playing against the Wizards...
Anyway, Antonio Daniels did a good job of getting the ball down the court (9 assists). Four players in double figures for the Wizards...where's the defense Celtics?
R. Allen 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists Kevin Garnett 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists Paul Peirce 18 points, 5 rebounds
Caron Butler snatched the ball from Peirce, play after play...He played stellar defense in the fourth quarter blocking the game winning attempt and then in the final seconds stealing the ball from Pierce and rebounding again on a miss tip from Garnett, then going down town to score a lay-up for the win. Caron Butler was the mvp of this game.
The Lakers are on the number three spot on the power rankings, and don't get shocked when you see them on the 12th or 15th spot with in the speed of light. Even though Andrew Bynum doesn't handle the ball or the point, he creates openings for other players believe it or not because 65% of the defense is concentrating on Kobe and the rest is focusing on Bynum. As we all know, Kobe can not do it all by himself and he is no Micheal Jordan. Lamar Odom, Ronny Turiaf and the bench must knock down their shots in order for them to win or just stay in the game for the next games on their schedule...Trust me the Lakers are going to have nightmeres because of Bynum's absence on the court. I bet you anything Kobe is going to score 50 points atleast twice before Bynum comes back from rehab due to an injury on the right knee.
- The Lakers will find out how valuable Bynum is to the Lakers and what his presence brings to the team...I hope they already know that he's worth way more than Shaq ever did (he's only 19 and can also knock down his free-throws) because currently he is one of the top five best centers in the NBA.
Boston Celtics(1) 30-5...The celtics hold the best record by far and are probably the hardest team to beat in the NBA currently. How in the world does one team get three future Hall of Famers...That must be a good G.M.
Detroit Pistons (2) 28-10...Rip, Billups, McDyess, Rasheed, Tayshaun...nuff said!
Los Anglos Lakers (3) 25-11...Kobe and Shaq back together? Oh yea, that's 19 year old Andrew Bynum!
Phoenix (4) 26-11...Even though Suns are one win ahead of the Lakers, they are ranked lower than them because Lakers out played them pretty bad.
Dallas Mavericks (5) 26-11...I still don't know what Mark Cuban was thinking when he traded Steve Nash, and then something that exploded my brains was Cuban firing, Hall of Fame coach, Don Nelson. Avery Johnson is little bit of a over-rated defensive coach no? I bet you anything, if Steve Nash and Nowitizki were still together, they would of atleast have two rings by now.
In the 2006-07 NBA season playoffs the rivalry between Kobe and Raja Bell had developed but similarly also between the two coaches.
Phil Jackson called a time-out in Phoenix when Lakers were up by almost 30 points with about twenty five seconds left in the fourth quarter. Phoenix Suns coach, Mike D'Antoni got upset at Phil Jackson for calling the unnecessary time out instead of waiting for his player to dribble the last seconds ball out instead of playing the play. Mike got furious and walked over to the official demanding an answer, "He's a hell of defensive coach huh?" and then looked towards Phil Jackson yelling, "thanks Phil!". Mike D'Antoni after the game said, the time out was an embarrassment to his players in front of their fans...and there was no need for Jackson to call a time out and accused of Jackson playing mind games and that no coach in the history of the NBA has called a time out when their up by 60 and there are about four seconds left in the fourth.
Watch the video for yourself, Phil Jackson asks, Mike D'Antoni, "what the F%^*K is wrong with you?...Go sit down!" during when the time out was called.
The last time the NBA claimed a protest requiring two teams to replay a game for a game altercation was 1982.
Now in 2008, the Atlanta Hawks and the Miami Heats are required to replay the final 51.9 seconds of their game from last month because the official scorer ruled that Shaquille O'Neal was fouled out which was an incorrect call.
Heats lost the Hawks in overtime December 19, 2008...117 - 111.
The crazy part of the story behind this is that the Atlanta Hawks knew what went wrong. NBA Commissioner David Stern has fined the Atlanta Hawks for "grossly negligent" for not addressing the mistake called by the official.
How players reacted to Commissioner Stern's order:
I'm not the kind of guy who likes to argue or cry over spilled milk, but we've got a second chance so we'll try to make the best of it - Udonis Haslem (Miami Heats)
You've got to live with it. We'll face those 51 seconds in March. - Coach Mike Woodson (Atlanta Hawks)
That's crazy, man! I don't even think I can play because I fouled out. David Stern is the head honcho, so if he says we've got to play another 51 seconds that's what we've got to play. Bottom line. - Josh Smith (Atlanta Hawks)
Well anyway, I wonder if the fans that purchased the tickets from the first game, are going to get free ones to finish the game they paid for! If they don't I bet you anything, fans will protest for ticket refunds because I would!
The seven foot, 300 pound 10th overall pick in 2005, Andrew Bynum, came straight out of high school averaging 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game even though he only played 15 high school games in his career due to an injury. He is the youngest player in NBA history to play a game at the age of 18 years and 6 days old.
Bynum did not play much minutes in the first half of his rookie season (2006) which was not surprising to some fans and players because of his inexperience and less games played in high school. His size and strength was the blessing that gave him a shot in the NBA.
In the second half of Bynum’s rookie season, diaster broke loose for the Los Angelo's Lakers centers Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown both getting injured. Lakers had no choice but to play Bynum, their only center left that was not on the injured list. In just over 22 minutes per game he averaged 8 points, 5.9 rebounds and about 2 blocks which was embarrassing for the guy of his size playing a lot of minutes and not coming close to get a double-double (10 points, 10 rebound game) .
Bynum was having a frustrating and tough season, playing the a lot of minutes coming straight out of high school. Teammates were not trusting Bynum on the court to knock down his shots. There were times where Bynum was so wide-open and players would give a look to pass to him and then change their minds, thinking it would be better not to.
Here is a video of Bynum yelling (“Give me the f@%ken ball!”) at guard Sasha Vujacic when Bynum was wide open and Sasha did not pass:
Not only did teammates disrespect Bynum, Lakers coach Phil Jackson got mad at him too during a time out because, Bynum made a silly mistake which could have cost the game…Later, during the same time-out, Kobe over-reacted by getting into an argument with Bynum which was later broken up by other Laker teammates. Just see the video below.
Bynum and Kobe getting into an argument, face-face on during the game is in session:
After that game, Kobe was questioned why he and Bynum did not get along. He replied, “ That Mother F@!#*R needs to know his damn position!” See the video:
Now in Bynum’s second NBA season everything has changed for him, he has shocked millions of people with his skills and improvement on both ends of the floor and is now one of the elite centers in the NBA at the moment behind Yao Ming, Dwight Howard, Amare Staudemire…Bynum will not be a surprise to many fans around the world if he was in the 2008 NBA All-Star game. Bynum currently has the second most dunks this season behind Dwight Howard and is now averaging 15.2 points and 10.20 rebounds per game. Furthermore, Andrew Bynum gets 20+ points games too, on Christmas he scored a career best 28 points and led the Lakers to a win against the sizzling hot Phoenix Suns. He is growing at a very fast rate and has grown before our eyes.
If I was asked, “who is the next shaq in the NBA?”
My answer would be either Andrew Bynum or Dwight Howard…I would not be surprised if they become Hall of Famers down the line because of the way their progress is coming.
I'd pick LeBron to run my team because there has been no other complete player like him in the history of the NBA except for Wilt Chamberman. He's the most unselfish All-Star, know's when to pass, know's when to shoot, knows when to take over in the fourth quarter etc. He's grown up before our eyes and soon is going to be a legend!
Carmelo's got some cool cars, and probably the best scenic view in Denver from his montain high home. From the windows of his house he has a clear view of the city and the Pepsi Center.
Kenny George, doesn't even need to leave his feat of the ground when he wants to dunk or tip ball in the basket. The basketball in his hands looks like a tennis ball. George Kenny is a monster, weighing in at a whopping 360 pounds. He's so big that he can't get a driver's license because he can't fit in a car seat, furthermore even an airplane seat and cannot travel in air.
Expect the center, to be in the first round NBA draft pick because of his size and the ability to move bodies around and in the paint.
I don’t hate it, but there are times I wish that I weren’t so tall. - Kenny George
He looks like another Kwame Brown in that highlight...lemme know if you think he get picked in this years NBA draft!
Check out Shaq's 64,000 square foot home with 11 bedrooms, indoor cigar bar, 30 car garage, finger print technology on door locks, full size professional movie theater, and indoor full size basketball court in Florida!
Big Ben Wallace is NBA's most over rated center and probably of all-time.
When he was in the Pistons he was admired for his stellar defense. When he found out he was being traded to the Bulls, his game dramatically changed from averaging 12 rebounds to 9 and averaging 12 points to 4.2 points per game. He needs a confidence-booster. In thirty minutes of game play he'll get you 4 rebounds...That is sad for a guy who is probably the third strongest center in the NBA behind Shaq and Dwight Howard. After all, he has played in the league for 11 years and is pretty old I still think he has got the physical strenghth to dunk like Dwight Howard and to be on top again but it seems like his mind and body language isn't in it. He needs to be pinched so he can wake up and smell the coffee! Nuff said.
Kevin Garnett 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists Paul Peirce 13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists Ray Allen DNP
Bobcats have their nights...It was a nice team effort but they still lack consistency and real team chemistry. Man of the match goes to Jason Richardson, he was two assists and one rebound shy of a tripple-double! Nice win J-Rich.
I've been to a lot of Denver Nuggets games and practices and always sit right behind the Denver bench. I sit so close that I can hear the players talk to each other, crystal clearly...One player always stands out to me...J.R. Smith. He seems out of the group and often lonely and sad on the bench during the games. Let me explain, he's too good of a player to be on the bench and not be a starter, furthermore he gets fewer than few minutes of playing time. He is a complete player that can pass, shoot at will by creating his own shot, and rebound. He came straight out of high school averaging 40 points! I've seen him in practice and before tip-off warm-ups...the dude can ball and he's got major hops and he knows that he can handle the ball. Smith doesn't need a confidence-booster or anything like that, if George Karl gives him atleast 15 minutes of playing time in one game, trust me, Smith will score atleast 20. Although J.R. Smith, cheers on his team and shakes and hugs the starters before the game tip-offs...I see a different side of him. Just look at the picture below, you'll see what I'm talking about.
Man I wish that play that Coach Karl is designing was a play for me -J.R. Smith
(George Karl, in the background is coaching the rest of the team and giving them further instructions)
J.R. Smith needs to get traded some place else because it seems like Karl isn't going give the guy the minutes he deserves.
Real 5'9 Dunker...The Best In The World. He does some powerful dunks even elite dunkers that are way above six foot in the NBA can't do. He's 5'9!! Natural Vally Food Company sponsored the video, so it has to be true! It's no joke, over a million views on youtube!
He scored 24 in the first quarter and that was highest ever in one period...LeBron James scored 29 straight in the fourth quarter against the Pistons in a playoff game where the intensity is just to a whole new level!!
Yao Ming filled the stats sheet by scoring 30 points, grabbing eight rebounds and six assists. Strained tendons, a bone bruise and tendinitis in the left knee is still causing T-Mac to miss more games. He will be out for a good two more weeks.
Game Honors went to Aaron Brooks. He scored 22 points...a career high for guy who just came back from the development league.
A lot of people wonder, which players are better...And 1 players or NBA players. Even though both are professional leagues...Take look at this video, comparing the same moves and 1 players do and the way they differ from the NBA players.
Despite Ben Gordon Scoring 32 points in a lossing effort, the Trail Blazer Brandon Roy filled up the stat sheet with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists! Lamarcus Aldridge had a double-double, 14 points and 13 boards. Ben Wallace scored a new season high with 12 points...He needs to take more shots and be more aggressive. He's got the size to over power anybody in the league except may be Dwight Howard.
Garnett scored 11 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and he also blocked the game winning attempt by the Rockets with a couple of seconds left. Paul Pierce scored 19 points, and Yao had 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Rockets. Rockets are now 2-4 with out T-Mac.
Brandon Roy scored 24 points and everyone knocked down their shots. It's unbelievable, that the Portland Blazers were such a bad team last season that Kobe scored 54 on them. Now their the hardest team to beat in the NBA. Their 13th game winning streak was snapped by the Utah Jazz one game before Minnesota's. But still, their are back on track.
Look what he did in last night's game against the Celtics...(I didn't like Kobe's reaction either) In result, Odom is suspended one game with out pay! He deserves to be suspended for about 20 games. This is absolutely ridiculous and there is no need for this unnecessary roughness in the game of basketball. Where is the integrity and respect for the sport?!?!
A few games ago Lamar Odom was clapping in the face of Jarred Jack from the Atlanta Hawks after the ball was called to the Lakers. I can't believe what he did. This one is even worse than the altercation between Ray Allen. Lamar Odom thinks he's so good huh?
